Catching up on the 52 paintings with another small one. I’m actually looking to explore the colors and style of the last 52, but I had to revisit a color scheme that didn’t quite work the first time with this one.

While I wait for canvases to dry, I’m still producing these pieces from Harmony.
This week’s 52 is a study in color subtlety.
Here is the latest 52 painting. I have a time lapse for this one coming too. This was supposed to be a sister piece to the last 52 painting, with a transitional background, but I ended up going a different direction. I’m still deciding what I think of this one, but it has given me a few ideas I’d like to work on.
For today’s Harmony drawing, I’ve added a bit of the Concentric Fracture feel, though I don’t believe there are a lot of similarities.
The new painting photos will be coming soon, but for now, here’s another Harmony drawing. I’m developing somewhat of a line here, and am considering turning it into a series.
I made another visit to Harmony today and drew this. Some of these forms are reminding me of paintings I did about 10 years ago. I’ll have to get some of those photos for comparison.
I was recently turned on to this neat online drawing application called Harmony, and created this creepy piece on the left here. It’s a fun tool to play around with, and the way it handles drawing produces some nice unexpected results. When I have more time, I’d definitely like to see what else I can do with it.
…ok, I had to go back and try another (results on the right). If anything, I think this is showing me how I miss drawing.
